I'm very excited. I really, really want to start right now. But I can't =/ No, not b/c I'd be breaking rules... b/c I have summer work to do that's gonna take 4 hours at least. It sucks, I know. That's why I'm procrastinating. Lovely, lovely blog :D
Okay, a month or two before I'm going to move, I finally figure out a perfect place to write at. (I'm reading two writing books right now: The writer's idea book by Jack Heffron & On writing : a memoir of the craft by Stephen King, that's why I'm thinking about all this in the first place - just picked them up today, both fantastic so far). The cedar room. That funny smelling room in that hideous basement that is the only room that one could possibly have privacy in - b/c no one ever goes there. I mean, the closets don't rank up nearly as high as the cedar room and the bathroom is unthinkable. So is the laundry room. Unthinkable, that is. Oh, I've grown a huge, huge dislike for bathrooms >.>
Tomorrow, I'm going to have a party! I'm gonna wake up at 5am (I swore to not wake up earlier than 6 during summer, so that's why it's a party) and write! And wake up my mom! Yay! Cranky coffee deprived woman w/ a slight hangover looking over my shoulder! Fantastico.
I'm also kind of really nervous about my book... I mean, it's good that I'm stepping out of my comfort zone for my writing, but is it possible to step over the line... too much? I don't wanna alienate all of my friends. Well two of them anyway >.< We'll see. This is for fun anyway. It's so I can let loose and do whatever I want, then go back to the book that's in the 2nd draft stage with a fresh mind. Well, that's what I keep telling myself anyway.
